Shipping & Delivery

Slash for Cash delivers products across New Zealand and internationally. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size, and are not included in listed product prices.

Processing & Lead Times All products are made to order. Production begins only after full payment — including any applicable delivery or shipping costs — has been received and confirmed. We'll be in touch with an estimated dispatch timeframe once your order is processed. Typically 7 working days should be allowed before shipment.

Domestic (NZ) Delivery We deliver throughout New Zealand. Delivery to urban centres is typically faster than to rural or remote addresses. For large bulk orders (5-tonne quantities), delivery logistics will be confirmed directly with you prior to dispatch.

International Shipping We ship select products internationally, including Plain Biochar (small quantity), Organic Biochar Fertilizer (small quantity), and Smokeless Charcoal Briquettes. International shipping costs and estimated timeframes will be confirmed at the time of order. Import duties, customs fees, or taxes applicable in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer.

Delivery Responsibility Once an order has been dispatched, Slash for Cash is not liable for delays caused by courier or freight carriers. We will provide tracking information where available.

Returns & Refunds

Made-to-Order Products Because our biochar and briquette products are produced to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on change-of-mind purchases. Please ensure you've selected the correct product and quantity before completing your order.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of receipt at kiaora@slashforcash.co.nz. We'll assess the situation and work to make it right.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If you're purchasing for business purposes, some of these protections may not apply — please get in touch if you're unsure.

Terms of Sale

Deposits A deposit is required to initiate production on kilns, bulk orders, and service bookings. Deposits are non-refundable once production or site preparation has commenced.

Pricing All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery and shipping costs are additional.

Payment Full payment (including delivery costs) must be received before any product is dispatched or service is commenced. For the Mobile Carbonisation Kiln Service, no work will begin without a signed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) form and receipt of deposit.

Intellectual Property All designs, technology, and processes associated with Slash for Cash mobile carbonisation kilns are protected intellectual property. Purchasing a product or service does not transfer any IP rights to the buyer. Licensing enquiries are welcome — contact us to discuss.

Jurisdiction These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
